"Chenese Great Wall" More Longer Than Previous Estimates.

One of top travel destinations an as world masterpieces is the Chinese Great Walls. The latest news said that the wall is longer than previous estimates. This Chinese Great Wall is a series of wall as a masterpiece that build in the 5th century and it’s included by UNESCO as world heritage site in 1987.























The first survey said which was announced to ensure that long ancient wall.
Government-mapping, study for two years found that the wall is 8850 km long. In fact, the length of the wall is usually referred to around 5000 km. Previous estimates based on the long historical record.
The government media said, infra red and GPS technology help to mapping some areas that hidden by a sandstorm. The project found that the wall along the 6259 km, 359 km as defensive ditch, and 2232 km as natural defensive such as hills and rivers. Studies conducted by the Cultural Heritage Institute and Bureau of Surveys and Mapping.
The experts said the walls of the newly discovered built by Ming Dynasty period (1368-1644), and extends from the Hu mountains in north Liaoning Province to the Jiayu rift, Gansu Province in western China.
The project will continue until 18 months to map out part of the wall that built during the Qin Dynasty (221-206BC) and Han Dynasty (206BC-9AD). The wall which is the largest man-made building in the world, built to protect the northern border of the Chinese empire.
The archeologists have been lobbying for the survey is to provide experts with accurate understanding of the construction of the wall.
